LANVIN for H&M collection revealed!

'Evening people!
Today has been a great one if you ask me. I woke up early at 7AM, and the first thought that hit my mind was; "The Lanvin collection! Today! Online!"
I rushed downstairs to pick up my laptop and opened the H&M website and... I was kinda disappointed!
The page wasn't available until 8AM! I had to wait another hour! (OK, a bit stupid of me not checking the launch-time but... whatever!) While I was up already I looked up my favorite blog, Nitrolicious, and surprisingly enough (actually not that surprising because she always seems to be the first one receiving H&M images and information) she had already posted the new 'Lanvin' video. The 'Fashion Show Short Film' shows a hotel with all kinds of things happening behind closed doors and in the hallways. The models show you lovely dresses, shoes, jewelry and sunglasses in a fun way. The film goes on for about 4,5 minute and it sure got me really (and I mean REALLY!) excited for the collection and I couldn't wait for a closer look!
When I got back to the H&M website again at 8AM, I expected to see the complete collection from a closer view, but unfortunately the 'film' I had just seen on Wendy's blog was the only thing that got launched today. The complete collection will be online next Thursday.
I went to school and when I got back home later I couldn't help myself checking the video again. I loved it so much! I opened Nitrolicious again and spotted a new post! The collection overview!
Finally a good look at what Alber Elbaz has created for us!
I L.O.V.E. almost the entire collection! It looks very well made and the fabrics look pretty beautiful. The colours, although there's a lot of black, are truly gorgeous! What's not to like?! Mr. Elbaz has picked out some of his greatest designs and has managed to make everything look just as amazing as the originals from his Lanvin collections. I've picked out some things I totally adore of which you can see images below. Prices in Euro's aren't available yet so I'll give you all Dollar prices for now.
How do you feel about H&M's newest collaboration? Disappointed or excited, like me?

New arrivals!

Net-a-porter.com had some cool new arrivals yesterday!
THE Miu Miu dress that has been shown on every September cover! I love the huge bow on the neck collar. Unfortunately... it's sold out already!
Beautiful cutout Chloé boots. They are a lovely soft pink-ish terracotta colour and... no heels! So I bet they're very comfy.
A Mulberry knitted scarf that looks very warm and soft. I really like the cute pompoms on the ends. Would love to hang this around my neck since I'm always cold (and also a scarf addict :P).
And last, this Ksubi top with a cute little ghost on it. Looks great with a leather jacket!
Like 'em?

XoXo, Justine W.

Must have outerware!

Hello again!
It's not really coats and jackets weather yet, but I can't help myself thinking about the newest must-haves for the upcoming season! I'm actually a little bored by everything in my closet at the moment, so in my head I'm throwing it all out and replacing it with the hottest items of the moment. Think of it as 'From catwalk to closet', but literally :P haha.
I've already picked out some coats I'd loooove to have. Well, the style at least. A good camel, leopard fur or pilot from Zara won't be a problem at all!
Now... let's hope I'll find me some soon! If you've seen anything like pictured below and you may think I'd be interested, let me know! Like I said, I'm looking for a nice fur coat (fake off course, and I'd also like a good leopard print), a camel coat and a cool shearling pilot jacket. ;)
What are you planning to treat yourself with for the cold days?

XoXo, Justine W.

Copy spotted!

Look what I found!
I was reading one of my favorite blogs, Nitrolicious, and saw her latest H&M showroom post. I noticed a black/gold brocade military jacket from the Fall collection and it immediately reminded me of Balmain and McQueen's Fall '10 shows. Both showed brocade items and even the whole setting at McQueen's show was baroque and looked like it came out of a 17th century painting.
I think this H&M jacket is a great copy of the trend and also a fabulous piece for those who can't afford Balmain. I may even like H&M's buttoning more than on the origianl Balmain. It has a more military feeling because of the straight-down buttons. I definitely like the new-military!
What do you think of this trend and H&M's copy?

I Salute you! Justine W.

I want !!!

Look at this beauty...
Ever since this bag was featured in July's L'Officiel it's been stuck in the back of my head.
I keep thinking about the beautiful colours, the *fab* 'phonewire' handle, the cute beads... everything is pefect about the 'Monogram Duffle Underground', exept for... the price off course...
It's € 2600,- at the P.C. Hooftstraat Louis Vuitton store. A little over my budget, unfortunately.
I usually don't want anything 'fake' in my closet but I'm seriously thinking about finding one!
Has someone seen it on sale by any chance?

I want !!!

I was just surfing the web and look what I've found!
The IT-bag of all IT-bags, in bright, sunny, juicy, shiny, TO DIE FOR yellow!
But not just yellow... CROC yellow! Is there anything more beautiful?

I guess Heaven does exist...

Wish-list items!!!

I know I'm really (!) late with this...(shame on me! How could I have missed this?!) but I just discovered the new Chanel 'Les Pop-up' make-up Summer Collection and I'm in L.O.V.E with it all!
Especially the nail polishes are TO DIE FOR! Bright and fresh colours that really 'pop' when you wear them.
Last year 'Jade' was the must-have nail polish, this summer it is 'Nouvelle Vague'. An ocean-blue'ish colour that deffinately reminds me of summer. Other colours, 'Mistral' and 'Riviera', are also gorgeous!
The lipsticks and glosses are amazing too. Available in hot pink (Gloss Fluo Laser), soft pink (Bikini Peach) and bright coral (Gloss Fluo Pop).
Unfortunately the collection is sold out almost everywhere, so if you can still find some of it somewhere, let me know please! I'm in desperate need of 'Nouvelle Vague' nails and 'Gloss Fluo Laser' lips!

Wish-list item!!!

Zip it y'all!
Silence for this little work of art... 'Zipper square-frame sunglasses' from Alexander Wang by Linda Farrow.
I spotted these on net-a-porter last week and I thought they were friggin' hot!
They are a bit pricey... € 275,- ! But then again, how awesome are zipper-glasses?!
So if you're in need for some new shades and don't mind to spend a little... These will definately work this summer! (But leave one for me on net-a-porter, ok?! Thanx :D )

Dior, me adore!

Bonjour!
It's been a couple of days since my last post, but I had a busy weekend.
As you all know I went to see Sex and the City 2 last Friday, which I thought was very funny (I definately enjoyed the movie a lot!), on Saturday me and mum took my brother out on a shopping trip because we needed to get him an outfit for my aunts wedding next Friday (Finally I'm becoming a bridesmaid!!! :D ). Not that simple when you're shopping for someone who doesn't like fashion but has a really strong opinion about what he should wear... Pfeww.... So hard... Saturday was also my dad's birthday, and me and my brother visited him in the evening. Sunday I spended my whole day cleaning up my room, it was such a mess! But only because I moved about a week ago and that always brings a lot of chaos arround the house.
Yesterday I went to see my friend again, to see how she doing.... Next saturday is her parents funeral... still unbelievable and so not fair...
As you can see I've been doing a lot, but I'll try to keep posting when I find the time.

For now, a little about Dior Jewellery. On my last trip to Paris 3 weeks ago, I went to Galeries Lafayette, a huge department store, like Bloomingdales or Saks Fifth Avenue. In a split second I spotted a ring in the jewellery section, which almost made me drool. It was a golden Dior ring from their 'Milly-la-forêt' collection. The collection contains rings, earrings and necklaces and all items are inspired by summer, gardens, flowers, insects (only the cute ones off course) and animals.
My favourite is the 18K yellow gold 'Diorette' ring, with the huge amethyst in the middle. It is huge and hard not to notice, but I love it!
All those lovely colours, flowers and O my... that cute ladybug! I really hope Santa is planning his summer vacation to Holland 'cause I just need (neeeeeddd) this ring!
Here are some pic's, also other beautiful and cool items from this collection.
What do you think? Are they 'too much' or 'too die for'?

XoXo Justine W.

BIG... I know :P But love at first sight...

The same ring, different colours

Beautiful earrings...

The 'Diorette', a little smaller version

Also stunning...

The little frog... Soooo cute!

The 'Milly-la-forêt' campaign add

Another add...

And they lived happily ever after...

Last week Christian Louboutin’s campaign adds for the Fall-Winter 2010-2011 collection released, and they’re amazinggg!
I love it! The campaign is called Louboutin’s Winter Tales and every picture is representing some sort of fairytale. I’m guessing the whole idea was inspired by Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ movie which was released almost two months ago.
I really like the adds, but I’m loving (!) the shoes! Especially the sparkling silver peep-toe booties, the studded leopard ankle booties, the sparkling red-golden strappy sandals and the neutral knee-high boots with studs on the nose.
The silver booties remind me of a golden pair Rihanna wore to YouTube’s ‘VEVO’ launch event back in October. If they look anything like those… they’re fricking HOT!
The complete FW collection will launch online at http://www.christianlouboutin.com/ around June 14.

Below are the adds and Rihanna with her fierce golden Louboutins.

'Alice in Wonderland'
'Cinderella'
I'm guessing... 'Beauty and the Beast'
'The Little Mermaid'
mmm... not sure about this one... something Asian I think.
not sure about this one either...
I think 'Cinderella' again
Also a ? for me...
Rihanna at the VEVO launch back in October
A close-up on the shoes... A little scary maybe, but... definately breathtaking
