GaasperPleasure 2010

Like I wrote yesterday in my 'Fashionable inspiration wall' post me and my friends went to visit a festival last weekend, 'GaasperPleasure'. It's a small festival just outside Amsterdam.
It was my first time at a festival and I have to say, I had a pretty good time!
Actually it's a shame I hadn't done it before. But well, there's a first time for everything!
I was suppose to go just with D. but L. called she got out of work early so I was happy she joined in a little later. Also walked into a couple old friends from High school wich was very funny.
It wasn't too crowded since it had been shitty weather for days. I guess people weren't convinced it would be a nice day. Luckaly it was! The weather was perfect! Sunny all day and the temperature was just right, so we stayed out 'till midnight. Also great DJ's who all played relaxing funky tech-house music.
I'll definately go again next year and I'm planning to visit more festivals next summer! Lovely!

Paradoxal Chanel

Misty purple...

Heey there!
I got it! This time I didn't miss out!
Yesterday I bought Chanel 'Paradoxal'. The newest must-have nailpolish for Fall. The colour really is amazing! It is a combination of grey, brown and purple, a pretty dark colour.
When I took a closer look into the bottle, 'misty purple' were the first words that popped up in my head.
It's a misterious shade with a fine puprle shimmer, that lights up in the sun beautifully.
In the first pic it looks like the purple is dominating but it really isn't, it's just the flash here.
If you're thinking about buying it yourself, get it quick! They will be out of stock before you know it! And this is a Limited Edition again, so they probably won't be restocking when their out!

PS: also very beautiful, the 'Vert Khaki' eyeshadow! An olive green shade with gold shimmer. Lovely colour! Will match hazel and green eyes the best! I'll add a picture below.

The IT-bag of all IT-bags, in bright, sunny, juicy, shiny, TO DIE FOR yellow!
But not just yellow... CROC yellow! Is there anything more beautiful?

I guess Heaven does exist...

Steal the deal!

Hey again!
OK, we all know I have a growing nail polish addiction for a couple of months now.
I still couldn't get over the fact that I had missed out on Chanel's 'Jade' last fall and since I'm still in love with the colour I decided to find myself a good duplicate. Lucky for me research was already done by lots of other people who couldn't get their hands on this amazing colour (or just thought it was too expensive).
I chose to buy 'Sold Out For Ever' by Catrice. The colour is very similar to the original. I'm wearing it right now and I love it! It even has a fine shimmer in it, just like 'Jade'.
I also bought a very pretty bright coral shade, 'I scream peach!', that looks a lot like Chanel's 'Orange Fizz'. (When I went to buy 'Orange Fizz' a couple of weeks ago it was sold out, so this is a great find for me!). On the image below it looks like 'I scream peach!' is a little more pink-ish, but in real life they're quiet similar.
Last but not least I've also found a nice grey-taupe colour, 'From dusk to dawn', that reminds me of Chanel's 'Particulière' a little. Although I do own this one, I decided to buy the look-a-like anyway. I just couldn't resist the low prices!
All nail polishes by Catrice cost only € 2,49 each! How cool is that! Can they be any cheaper?!
Besides these 3 colours I bought a few other shades;

• Essence Space Queen (Essence nail polishes cost only 1,29!)

So, I'm guessing that's enough for the time being, don't you think?! (Well, at least for 2 weeks. Then Paradoxal will hit Dutch stores and there's no way I'm passing this time! haha).

Fall's must-have nail polish!

Ok, we're still in the middle of summer, but Chanel is almost releasing it's new make-up line already! 'Les Contrastes de Chanel' is the must-have Fall 2010 make-up collection.
As you all know I'm a huge Chanel make-up fan (especially the nail polish), so I'm very excited about this launch.
After 'Jade' last Fall, 'Particulière' last Spring and 'Nouvelle Vague' this summer, Paradoxal will probably be the next big thing in nail-polish-world.
It is a dark greyish plum shade that reminds me of Particulière (Still one of my favorites!).
Chanel will also re-release Jade Rose this Fall. Jade Rose was originally released Fall '09, together with the popular 'Jade'. Because 'Jade' got all the attention 'Jade Rose' is getting a second chance this year.
The collection will launch somewhere in the middle of August (Netherlands).
I know I will get me some! What do you think of the new colours?

'Captured!' - Update

Here's a little update about my Chanel summer make-up.
Back in June I already bought the 'Super' lipstick, 'Laser' lipgloss and 'Mistral' nail polish.
On my vacation I also bought the 'Genial' lipstick with the 'Pop' gloss. Both bright coral colours.
I found them at the airport and couldn't resist. Me and my friends wore it our entire holiday!
I think I even like these two colours more than Laser and Super.
Wear it and you'll feel stunning and fabulous! I'd definately recommend these two beauties!

Hey there!

Last week I did a post about Chanel's Summer make-up collection and how bad I wanted to have all of it.

Now I'm happy to say I've managed to buy myself some of the stuff. Unfortunately not all of it but before I started my make-up 'hunt' I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get my hands on the 'Nouvelle Vague' and the 'Riviera' nail polish. (So still looking for these two people!).

What I did buy; 'Mistral' nail polish, 'Super' Rouge Allure lipstick and 'Laser' Fluo Gloss.

Just did my nails (love it!). The colour matches my Louboutin heels I bought in Paris about two months ago. Very nice, if I may say so.

Wore the lipstick and gloss last saturday when I went clubbing. I must say; a little shocking (never had lips this bright and popping before!) but after looking at myself in the mirror a couple of times, I got used to my colourful lips. My friends loved it too (we all left the house very kissable :P ) so that won me over for sure.
It also matched my new necklace that I'll show you in my next post.
Like I said, I love my new buys (!), but if there's anyone who knows a store that still has the other two colours I want, let me know!

Wish-list items!!!

I know I'm really (!) late with this...(shame on me! How could I have missed this?!) but I just discovered the new Chanel 'Les Pop-up' make-up Summer Collection and I'm in L.O.V.E with it all!

Especially the nail polishes are TO DIE FOR! Bright and fresh colours that really 'pop' when you wear them.

Last year 'Jade' was the must-have nail polish, this summer it is 'Nouvelle Vague'. An ocean-blue'ish colour that deffinately reminds me of summer. Other colours, 'Mistral' and 'Riviera', are also gorgeous!

The lipsticks and glosses are amazing too. Available in hot pink (Gloss Fluo Laser), soft pink (Bikini Peach) and bright coral (Gloss Fluo Pop).

Unfortunately the collection is sold out almost everywhere, so if you can still find some of it somewhere, let me know please! I'm in desperate need of 'Nouvelle Vague' nails and 'Gloss Fluo Laser' lips!

Because you're beautiful, you can dance like crazy and off course, because you have the most amazing voice!
'Why don't you love me' is a bonus track from Beyoncé's 'I am... Sasha Fierce' album, which released late 2008. May 4th 2010, the song was released as a single in the United States including a video.
The video is filmed like it is a 50's/60's movie. Faded colours, retro style sets, old cars and B is using all kinds of old fashioned cleaning equipments.
Her looks are perfect I must say. The clothes, the hair, the make-up... The stylist really did a great job here!
There are some details which reveal that this video is definately not as old as it looks, but if you look past those details... it is hard to believe this is a 2010 video.
I love Beyoncé doing dishes in this cute Chanel outfit and she looks really beautiful while she's crying on the phone in the bedroom scene.
