8 wins for GaGa!

Woohoooo!
This morning my alarm clock woke me up with great news! Lady GaGa, one of my favourite (!) artists ever, had a great night at the Video Music Awards yesterday! She was nominated 13 times which is an absolute record, and managed to win in 8 categories, of which 7 were for her amazing 'Bad Romance' video! How amazing is that?!
I really envy her. Her beautiful strong voice, the fact that she wears litterally EVERYTHING no mather what people may think of her (she made another 'shocking' statement again at the VMA's by putting on a 'meat'dress! Complete with shoes, a purse and even at meat hat!), her uniqueness, her support for the gay community and people daring to be different. I think it's unbelievable a single person can change so many lives in just two years. I'd say GaGa has the triple X-factor, I can't think of any one else that is more talented than her.
When she arrived at the award show she was wearing a beautiful (theatrical) Alexander McQueen gown with 'the' famous 12" (30,5 cm) 'Armadillo' heels (featured in the picture in my header). A gorgeous total look if you ask me. I also loved her new blue-ends wig and make-up very much! I'm not sure about this meat-dress but it's definately GaGa. I'm wondering how may people she drove away with the smell of that dress. It probably wasn't her perfume that dominated the look!
One more thing to add is that she announced the name of her upcoming album! It will be called; Born This Way. I'm curious to know when the album will be released! I really need some new GaGa-material!
Seeing the pictures makes me sooo excited for her concert November 30th! The MonsterBall Tour returns to Holland for two nights and even though I have already seen the show I can't miss out on this one either! It's just too f*cking fabulous!
Below are some pictures of the outfits. Any opinions?

LOVE it!

Hello again!
Anyone ever heard about 'LOVE' magazine? I'd never seen it untill last wednesday when I was picking out some new magazines at the AKO-store. I thought it was new, but this issue appears to be the 4th.
'LOVE' is published twice a year and was founded in the U.K.
Magazineboutique.com describes 'LOVE' as; "a twice-yearly compendum of inspiration - for designers, for artists, for anyone looking for visual ideas; for anyone who loves fashion and design so much that they want to climb inside the heads of their heroes. LOVE opens its readers to the most exciting developments in music and art as well as fashion to reveal the shape of tomorrow's aesthetics in its purest form."
I have to say, the magazine has beautiful photoshoots, is super thick and is full of the hottest ads.
The latest issue, The Gorgeous Issue A/W 10, is published with several different covers of Gorgeous women. Every one of these women is featured in a piece on 'diverse perceptions of female beauty'. I went for the Gisele Bündchen-cover myself.
Although the magazine is a bit expensive, € 11,99, I'm sure I'll keep buying it. I'm sort of 'collecting' special foreign fashion magazines and LOVE definitely should be in my collection. And by the way,
 € 24,-  isn't that much for a whole year!
Buy this people!

WHAT are you doing?!

Morning guys!
OMG I've been soooo busy with school stuff, it's crazy!
Last week was my first week and you won't believe the pile of homework we got instantaneously!
For example; we had to buy this styrofoam torso and got one little piece of Ebb Cotton (75x75 cm) of which we had to design 10 different outfits with pleats, draw the most interesting view and photograph all sides.
And I can definitely say, it was one hell of a job! You won't believe how much time this assignment took!
Nice detail; we've got the same assignment again for this week, only this time it's not pleats but ruffles/wrinkles we need to work on. Bye bye free time...
Haha, now I'm making it sound like I don't enjoy doing all this, but I do! Homework could be much worse!
Here are some designs and drawings I made last week. Please tell me what you think of them, I'm very curious about others opnions!

Lanvin for H&M!!!

We've seen Lagerfeld, McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Cavalli, Matthew Williamson and even Jimmy Choo... What's more to come?!
H&M just confirmed their latest guest designer this morning. It will be Lanvin!
Alber Elbaz, Lanvin's creative director, is featured in a short video about the new H&M collaboration on the website.
He explains; "I think I love the idea that H&M is going luxury rather than Lanvin is going public".
I really love Lanvin was chosen to be the next guest designer. There have been speculations about Taiwanese designer Shiatzy Chen being the next in line, but since I'm not familiar with her work and have never heard of the brand, I'm not so dissapointed it was only a rumor. I'd rather have a worldwide known luxury label make their brand accessible for a larger public. Lanvin's collections always interest me, I especially liked this summer's jewelry, handbags and cocktail dresses. And the famous Lanvin short sneakers with ribbon laces of the upcoming season are also very likable (again)! And to add one more thing; the windows of the Lanvin stores we're just so beautiful last May! I spotted them in Paris. Full with bodyparts and masks, and their outstanding jewelry... maybe a little weird but sooo lovely! Try to look it up and you'll agree!
Also names such as Tomas Meier and Caroline Herrera were named as the upcoming designer but like I said, Lanvin will be IT!
Also read on Nitrolicious.com that the collection will contain 30 pieces and 15 accessories for women and 25 pieces and 10 accessories for men. I guess there will be enough to choose from once again!
I certainly can't wait, can you?!
